India, Brazil and China are the major crop producers and the workers often suffer many harmful side effects from working with these plants. India is a leading producer and political problems in that country further threaten an already unstable castor supply.

Initially, testing by engine manufacturers to insure warranty compliance and verify emission reductions is required. We are interested in working with companies who manufacture both automotive and two-stroke engines.

Following two postdoctoral appointments in enzymology at the Universities of Sheffield and London he moved to Industry. He has extensive experience in Industrial Research, particularly with regards to vegetable oils, their industrial application, novel ways to make them using biotechnology and the genes and enzymes involved in their biosynthesis.
