Description

Dr. Alfano obtained his Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University in 1997 and attended The New England College of Optometry, in Boston, completing his Doctor of Optometry in 2002. Numerous internships were completed including Bascom Palmer Eye Insitute in Miami, Florida, Veterans Administration Hospital in Brockton, Massachusetts and Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Alfano received further training with glaucoma, cornea and retina specialists during his residency in ocular disease at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. Dr. Alfano has extensive experience in laser vision correction and is affiliated with TLC Laser Eye Centres. He is able to perform eye exams in English, Italian and Spanish and is working hard to build his Portuguese vocabulary.
