With over 20 years of experience in Holistic Healing and Stress Management, as a Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master and Wellness Coach. Elizabeth specializes in healing and recovery by weaving together a blend of her studies and experience. This program offers a well-balanced holistic approach to recovery and healing. By cultivating mindfulness and deepening the mind body connection through daily activities such as, gentle yoga, mindfulness/meditation, walking/hiking, physical fitness, nutritional health, nature connection, art/music therapy, and other complimentary therapies.

Our acting Medical Director of the facility is Dr. John Nicholson. Dr. Nicholson is a family doctor who has practiced in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia for over 20 years. He has a diverse patient base and a particular interest in Addiction Therapy . He will be another part of the team to help us provide the best addiction treatment possible. Outside of work he enjoys time with his family and plays many sports.

Ledgehill is committed to working with families. We work with each of our clients individually, to provide the support and involvement required by each client and their family. This may involve inviting family members to attend sessions held at Ledgehill, designed to promote the well-being of those who live with an addicted person. We create a safe environment within which participants can identify and experience insight into ways of coping with addiction and relationships.

Ledgehill scores highly in all of these areas. All clients are provided with luxurious accommodation in their own room with an en-suite bathroom, and our centre is set in over 100 beautiful acres. We provide excellent, high-quality meals. Attention to detail is key; our rooms are sound-proofed so that peace and tranquility are built into the very fabric of Ledgehill.
