Description

Henry joins the LLO board from Ottawa. He is a university student working towards a Chartered Accounting designation and is eager to share his financial expertise with the LLO organization. A passionate contributor to the community, Henry has extensive experience in both financial management and non-finance roles in the not-for-profit sector. Besides bringing his financial background to this board as Treasurer, Henry is the Finance Director of the engineering society at his university, where he advises the student club on financial recordkeeping and taxation issues. In a non-financial extent, he is an active volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society and Canadian Feed The Children. Outside of volunteering, Henry has completed an internship in the Finance Unit at the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities, a funding partner of LLO. Aside from his financial involvement at LLO, Henry also takes part in the Nominations Committee and the Social Enterprise Committee. He is thrilled for the opportunity to make an impact in the literacy field and looks forward to the challenges that will arise in the upcoming year.
