Description

Lassonde Specialties is an agri-food company that develops,
manufactures, and markets specialty foods. The Company islocated in Saint-Damase, a town about fifty kilometers south-
east of Montreal.
Lassonde Specialties is the main manufacturer and exporter on theinternational market of canned vacuum packed corn on the cob.
Presently, this product is almost entirely exported to Western
Europe. It is marketed under the MADELEINE, MONT-ROUGE, and
ROUGEMONT brands. It is also sold under private brands. Thecorn is grown and harvested near the plant. Then it is broughtto the plant within hours of being harvested and is immediatelytreated to preserve all its freshness and nutritional qualities.
It is a natural product without any preservatives.
The other range of products are bouillons and sauces for fondue, marinades for meat, and BBQ sauces sold under the CANTON
brand, and baked beans sold under the PURITAN brand. Presently,
these products are mainly merchandised in Quebec.
Lassonde Specialties would be interested in exporting its products on the American and South-American markets but stays open to other market opportunities.
