Understanding this, everything we do at Land Stewardship Centre – from the resources we develop and the partnerships we cultivate, to the programs we build and the services we provide – serves a clear purpose: to raise awareness and encourage action. We engage, inform and enable people and organizations to become better stewards and here’s how we are working to achieve this.

Being a good steward matters to you. Having access to valuable stewardship information and resources plays an important part in helping you become a good steward. At Land Stewardship Centre, we take pride in providing the products, services and resources that help you do this – but we can’t do it alone.

The Canadian Biodiversity Strategy was published in 1995 to provide a framework for action to enhance the nation’s ability to ensure the productivity, diversity and integrity of our natural systems and, as a result, Canada’s ability to develop sustainably.

Land Stewardship Centre is a not-for-profit, charitable organization. Your charitable donations will help us do what we do best – engage, inform and enable people to become good stewards. For example, your contributions will help us keep the Stewardship Resource Centre up to date, allow us to continue to provide free resources like the Green Communities Guide , help us grow the Conservation Land Registry database, and make it possible for us to develop new partnerships and programs that promote and support grassroots stewardship initiatives in your communities.
