Description

Lakeway Truck Centre was founded in 1959 by the Parton family when highway 17, part of the Trans Canada Highway, to Thunder Bay was just being constructed. When the Partons retired in March of 1994, a longtime customer of Lakeway Truck Centre, Donnie Varcoe, bought the business. Donnie's family had been in the trucking business since he was a small boy, so taking over Lakeway Truck Centre was natural.
