Description

Amanda has provided music and enrichment workshops for the City of San Bernardino and surrounding communities. Amanda is a singer/songwriter, musician and teacher. Her musical experience ranges from working with children in Rock Music Camp, multicultural art programs, coordinating community art events, facilitator at public schools, children residential facilities, senior citizen centers and churches. She is a former head-start and preschool teacher, holds fifteen early childhood education units and holds a bachelor's degree in Sacred Music. Amanda has served as a music director for many choirs including guest musician and director for one of San Dimas High School Concert Choirs, King's Kids Choir at Light and Life Christian School in Azusa, Ca and the Holiday Chorus for David and Margaret Home in La Verne, Ca. Amanda has been honored by the City of San Dimas for outstanding service with the youth in the community. Professionally, Amanda is the lead singer for Rebirth. She has shared the stage with the likes of Lisa McClendon, Michelle Bonilla and Rebirth has opened for the group P.O.D. and other major groups. Amanda's passion for the arts as well as her love for people have joined together to create an awesome opportunity for both children and adults to learn about music, the diversity within the arts to develop the universal language that can ultimately draw unity within the community. "My goal is help people find their "creative self" and to assist them in developing self-expression through music and arts". She is member of the MENC and the American for the Arts organization.
