Gabrovo developed as an economic center at the beginning of the last century. Nowadays it is one of the most developed industrial regions in Bulgaria. Mechatronica S.C. was established in 1961 to solve complex technological problems in machine-building, electronics, food industry, etc. The equipment designed and produced is intended for ecological technologies, energy saving, and reliable process control. The company is specialized in 3 main activities (until 2000): - - - After 2000 the market situation in Bulgaria changed and the company turned its efforts to another type of unique technological equipment - Lines for Production of Laminate Tubes and Tube Filling Automatic Machines. Development, design, and manufacture of these machines is realized entirely in Mechatronica plant. Their small team constantly expands its knowledge and experience to not only sell machines to clients but to solve their technological problems related to the organization of laminate tube production. In this respect they have established contacts with material producers necessary for making the laminate tubes - foil, shoulders and caps. These contacts are given to our clients in order to quickly and easily solve customer materials' delivery problems. Presently Mechatronica SC is a modern machine-building plant with high-qualified staff capable of solving any problem related to packaging.
