Kisserup International Trade Roots Inc. is an International Trade Training and consulting company founded in Nova Scotia, Canada in 1998.
As the founder of Kisserup International Trade Roots Inc., Pernille Fischer Boulter brings over twenty years of international business experience to any project she is engaged in. She has provided project management and consulting services to public and private sector organizations in over 40 countries worldwide. Since immigrating to Canada in 1988 and founding Kisserup, she has been facilitating public/private sector business development and project management, established joint ventures across Europe, Asia, USA, CARICOM and Canada. Pernille has been contracted by Federal and Provincial agencies to provide consulting services to private sector companies in Nova Scotia since 2002.
During the past twenty years, Pernille has led or assisted over 30 trade missions’ world wide. Pernille has frequently been contracted to design and delivery pre and post Mission training for Team Canada Atlantic. She has also been retained by Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters to deliver mentoring services to export ready clients and for the past two years, Pernille has been the lead Mentor Consultant of CME/ACOA lead Missions to the US. In January 2008, Pernille and Kisserup qualified to participate in the Federal CARICOM Trade Mission to Barbados and Jamaica, in support of increased trade opportunities between Canada and the Caribbean.
Pernille has managed budgets of all sizes, from $60 million annual budgets within the IT sector to minor monthly budget requirements with New-To-Export clients. Since 1998, Pernille and Kisserup have assisted over 1,000 Atlantic Canadian companies in their pursuit of export, either via direct client involvement or via international trade training and export continuums.
Pernille has a master of business (Copenhagen Business School & Århus School of Business, certificate in Project Management (PMI) (St. Mary’s University, Nova Scotia, Canada, a designation as a Certified International Trade Professional, C.I.T.P Canada’s highest trade training designation from the Forum For International Trade Training and is a certified consultant with the Business Development Bank of Canada. From 2002 – 2008, Pernille served as the Nova Scotia representative on the Federal SME Advisory Board to the Minister of International Trade.
