Kepa Transport is wholly owned by the cree communities of Chisasibi and Wemindji and results from the successful work accomplished by a team dedicated to the transport of goods and merchandise in one of the most challenging regions of the province: Northern Québec. Kepa Transport was incorporated in November 1987 in order to offer general transport services to different communities along the James-Bay coast and ensure a regular and dependable service to all of the crees.

For more than 20 years, Kepa Transport has been the leader of the James-Bay territory. The company has a fleet of more than 150 units with cutting edge technology that serves different cree communities on a daily basis, the Hydro Electric projects and other building sites of this vast territory. Owned by the cree communities of Chisasibi and Wemindji, Kepa performs regular and reliable transportation and meets the growing needs of its clients. To do this, the fleet includes open trailers, B-Train, controlled-temperature, multi-temperature and dry-van services.
