Just Paws Animal Rescue is a non-profit, foster-based organization in Ontario's Greater Toronto Area that rescues animals from high-kill shelters, provides veterinary care, and places them in permanent homes. Volunteers manage the rescue from their homes, ensuring all dogs are cared for in a home setting without a central office. The organization focuses on matching dogs with suitable families through rigorous adoption processes, including applications, home visits, and meet-and-greets, to ensure successful, long-term placements. They also accept owner surrenders and work with local veterinary clinics to support their mission.
