Here at Java Blend Coffee Roasters, we cater to café start-ups. Whether you are an existing cafe, restaurant, or gourmet food store, or planning to open one; we offer guidance along the way. If you are located in Nova Scotia please drop by and visit our roasting facility in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In 1938 Theodore Sideris had a vision; Coffee, "Direct from our roaster to your cup." Today, some 70 years later, we continue with that tradition. We are dedicated to excellence in coffee and building community through this wonderful beverage. We strive to delight our customers with coffees of unsurpassed quality, and in so doing to support some of the finest small farmers in the world. Java Blend Coffee is a small, locally owned roastery / café devoted to quality, and committed to staying that way. Our café is a place to converse, read, write, savor and slow down.

Fair Trade Coffee Java Blend has been sourcing certified Fair Trade coffees since 1999. Fair Trade raises incomes and living standards for small coffee farmers. Fair Trade practices include paying farmers a fair price for their harvests; an amount that provides a decent wage for their labor. The Fair Trade program provides working capital to farmers. The program also promotes sustainable agricultural practices, such as organic and shade grown farming, that help protect the environment.
