J.F. Young International Inc. is a training and consulting organization founded in 1990. Our headquarters is in Port Colborne ON with branch offices in Cornwall UK . We have three major areas of expertise, as follows:

1. Quality Management:

From one-half day training sessions to full turnkey projects, we can offer any required services in ISO 9000:2008, ISO 17025:2005 or TS 16949, Business
Excellence Model and ISO 14000. Our most popular courses include: Internal Quality Auditing, Problem Solving, Statistical
Process Control and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). A new product here is Six Sigma training.

We work with both small and large organizations. We have helped many organizations achieve their ISO registration or other stated goals in manufacturing and with both private and public sector service providers. Our forte is in project management.
Examples of our clients are: Industry Canada, Pebble Beach Golf Resort
(CA), Hobart Brothers Delphi Automotive, AT&T and NASA.

2. Metallurgical Services:

We offer training and consulting in the following areas: corrosion, heat treating, failure analysis, welding and basic metallurgy. We have consulted in these areas, studied metal structure failures in ourlaboratory, provided on-site inspection services, optimized process parameters and acted as an expert witness in litigation as well as train-the-trainer.

Typical training subjects include: Basic Metallurgy, Aerospace
Materials, Heat Treating and Bearing Tecnology. Others can be developed upon request - such as Minerals Processing Technology, Mining Processing, Cement Processing and Refractories.

Examples of our clients include: General Motors, Delta Airlines,
Dofasco, Magna Automotive, Chrysler, Moen and Acco.
