Founded in 1860 by Andrew Jack, Jack & Co Ltd is the longest-running insurance company in Nova Scotia, and one of the oldest brokerages in Canada. After passing the business to his son, Peter Jack, the company would later be purchased by the current owner’s grandfather, Gerald Bishop, in the 1940s.
