Why Zulu? We choose Zulu because James Joyce's Son Giorgio Joyce referred to Irish people as Zulus. I have yet to establish whether this was meant as a compliment or insult, but in any event we were sufficiently intrigued by it to adopt it. I inclined to believe that he viewed Zulus as a nomadic people, cultured, warrior like and proud who overcame insurmountable odds to fashion an independent state of sorts .sound like any other race we know? At any rate, Zulu is Giorgio Joyce speak for Irish and Zulu House is therefore Irish House. What is Zulu House?
