Intracorp

Description

Joe Houssian founded Intrawest Corporation in 1976, now a well-known resort development company throughout Canada, the United States and in Europe. During its early years Intrawest was also involved in commercial and multi-family residential housing. Recognizing that resort and residential housing have distinct differences, Intracorp was formed in 1994 to manage the residential aspect of the business, allowing each entity to focus on its area of specialization. In 2006, Intrawest was sold. Mr. Houssian holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia, and received his early sales and management experience from the highly regarded Xerox Corporation - renowned for producing some of the nation's top business people.
