If you are a dive professional with another agency and will be attending DEMA in Las Vegas later this month, SDI, TDI and ERDI would like to extend an open invitation for you to attend any of the many workshops and seminars we will be hosting during the Show. SDI, TDI and ERDI have events scheduled from Wednesday, November 17 through the end of the show on Saturday the 20th. The focus of the line-up is on marketing and how to make winning promotions of your diver-level training, but includes discussions on important and timely topics such as risk management and selling dive travel. "We have always made our professional seminars and workshops available to ALL trade members and dive industry pros," explains Cris Merz, National Sales manager for each of the SDI family of agencies. "While many of the presenters are members of SDI, TDI or ERDI staff bolstered by senior instructor-trainers for our organization, several are simply recognized experts in their respective fields and have no affiliation with us other than we want to share their viewpoints and knowledge with the whole industry." Merz said that the actual lineup includes presentations on subjects as diverse as: Trends in Dive Journalism; Public Safety Diving; Point-of-Sale technology; Customer retention; onLine and Blended diver training; Equipment specialist training*; Contaminated Water Ops Awareness Level training*; and tips on putting together technical dive trips.
