Description
Elliott B. Pollack, Legal Counsel, represents commercial property valuation clients. He is Chair of the Property Valuation Department and a member of Pullman & Comley’s Health Care Department. Elliott has litigated or settled ad valorem and eminent domain cases comprising more than two billion dollars since 1972. He provides a broad range of legal services to the entire spectrum of health care providers, both proprietary and not-for-profit. He has extensive experience in corporate reorganizations and joint ventures for health care organizations.
Dr. Brzeski returned to his native Poland at the outset of the transition process when he advised the new democratic government on land, real estate and housing reforms. He was instrumental in creating market professions of appraisers, property managers and real estate brokers. He served also as a deputy mayor of Poland's second city (Krakow), and has been involved in property taxation reform debate. Jan worked in various other transition economies, especially as the World Bank's senior urban specialist.
Canada. Lynne is a leading expert in the property tax field and brings both a balanced perspective and practical experience in dealing with property tax issues in Ontario to the workshop. Lynne currently represents large corporate taxpayers, advising them on all matters relating to municipal taxation.
