About

Established in 1987, the Interior Finishing Systems Training Centre (IFSTC) provides comprehensive apprenticeship and journeyperson upgrading programs for drywall, acoustical, EIFS, and hazardous material workers across Ontario. Each year, over 200 apprentices complete in-class training at its facilities, which are governed by trustees representing both workers and employers, including the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, International Union of Painters, Acoustical Association Ontario, and Interior Systems Contractors Association. The centre offers specialized courses such as First Aid, Blueprint Reading, and Certificate of Qualification Preparation, serving the province's interior finishing trade needs.
