Insignia Software has been in business since 1999 and specializes in developing education software. To date, Insignia Software has developed the following products: - Insignia Library System (since 2001) for K-12, public, academic and special libraries - Insignia Media Manager (since 2004) for K-12 - Insignia Record Management System (since 2004) for insurance companies - Insignia Student Information System (since 2004) for K-12 All of these products are based on Microsoft SQL 2000 and are developed in .net. Insignia Software has clients for the Insignia Library System, Insignia Media Manager and Insignia Student Information System in both US and Canada and Middle East . Our clients include special, public, academic and K-12 libraries. The size of Insignia Library System's largest installation is 140 libraries in one database on one server. Insignia Student Information System is being used from a single site with 16 schools in one database. By using Insignia products, the schools and districts can reduce the total cost of implementing a library automation system or a student information system. With Insignia Student Information System, Insignia Software also offers integrated phone notification software to increase parental involvement and communication at no additional cost to Insignia customers.
