We are an authorized distributor for Eurotherm/SSD and Benshaw products. We are an O.E.M. provider of Reliance Electric and Dodge Products (now Baldor). In addition to the distribution of these products, our service team can provide assistance with the repair of Reliance, Saftronics, Emerson, and Control Techniques products. Allen-Bradley PLC's are a specialty. Our head office is located in Hensall, Ontario.

In addition to designs utilizing our standard product lines (Eurotherm/SSD, Reliance, Benshaw), IDS's full service capabilities include providing training seminars for both new or existing equipment. With respect to on-site repairs or refurbishing of automation control systems, IDS is also experienced in Allen Bradley, Emerson, Saftronics, and Control Techniques. Industrial Drive Service (IDS) Inc. was established in 1988. The focus of the business is the sale and service of AC and DC variable speed motor controls, soft starters, frequency drives and servo drives. In addition to this IDS manufactures custom control systems.

As well as being a highly specialized company in complex systems design and the assembly business, we also develop applications using PLC's. When requested, we will supply the customer with CAD drawings as a record of design support (i.e., fabrication and installation of control panels, operator stations, power/drive cabinets, drives-motors, servos, etc.). On-site commissioning is part of our full service.
