INDUSTRIAL COMMUTATOR CO. LTD. is a wholly Canadian owned manufacturer serving the OEM and aftermarket electric motorrewind business. ICC is registered under the ISO Quality
Management System and is also certified by Transport Canada forthe production of starter/generator commutators.

For almost 25 years, commutators, slip rings and mica componentshave been manufactured by the following departments at ICC:

TRACTION - specializes in new and rebuilt commutators for the severe demands and exacting specifications of Railway, Transitand Off Highway Vehicle Traction Motors;

SLIP RINGS - new and rebuilt slip rings of any diameter and for all applications. Rings can be provided in many different materials such as copper, bronze, stainless steel and coinsilver;

INDUSTRIAL - New and rebuilt commutators for applications such as steel mills, mining, marine, petroleum, pulp and paper, elevators, and numerous other industries;

MICA FABRICATION - insulating components such as mica vee rings,
coil supports, and end bells are supplied to various OEM's and aftermarket apparatus service facilities;

AVIATION - commutators for aircraft starter/generators are manufactured using such exotic materials as zirconium copper andinorganic mica and are subjected to critical tests andinspections, including high speed spin testing - as high as
20,000 rpm - prior to shipment.
