Independent Electric Supply Incorporated (I.E.S.) is a wholly owned and operated Canadian company, which has been distributing electrical products of all types since 1921. From it roots as a primary supplier to the hardware community, supplying everything from appliances, lighting and full line electrical supplies, I.E.S has stood the test of time and grown within the industry it serves. As a service company demonstrating world-class solutions, we have implemented programs to become your preferred supplier. Our goal is to assure continuity of service and to improve the timely flow of information between customer orders, quotations and manufacturers to meet the best possible installed cost of each and every project. Today IES represents over 250 product lines from distribution equipment and motor control, to lighting and power conditioning products, power tools and metering equipment, servicing the Industrial Contractor, Institutional and Commercial markets across the GTA. Independent Electric Supply Incorporated is proud to represent many of the major products available on the market today, such as the Schneider line of Square D, Telemecanique, and Federal Pioneer. Lighting products from Lithonia, Cooper, Thomas and lines such as Hubbell, Pyrotenax, Leviton, Burndy, Sick Optics and Panduit. Our Dedicated staff is fully trained within each product area, with specialists in lighting, motor control, Distribution, fastening, sensor technology and safety light curtains. IES has seen a steady expansion since being purchased in 1988 by Bob Branscombe who maintains a "hands on" approach. IES continues to grow offering greater economies of scale to reduce the total transaction cost to our customers and manufacturing partners. IES is a proud member of Affiliated Distributors (A/D), North America's leading marketing group with combined sales exceeding 20 billion dollars.
