The Idylwylde Golf and Country Club, celebrating its 85th Anniversary in 2007, was founded in 1922 and developed from the old Howey Farm on Lake Ramsey. Its original wood frame clubhouse, reduced by fire in 1962, has been replaced by the existing multi sport facility. Located between Laurentian University and beautiful Lakes Ramsey and Nepahwin, the 6,600 yard golf course provides a magnificent view. The Idylwylde offers something for everyone, including the private 18 hole golf course, driving range and practice areas, full service pro shop, 5 sheet curling rink, groomed cross-country ski trails, elegant dining room, fireplace lounge, meeting and banquet facilities. The Idylwylde prides itself on quality and professional service. Receptions and weddings are our specialty. We offer exceptional cuisine and a variety of fine menu and wine choices. The Idylwylde's pristine setting adds that extra element to a special event.
