Icon Developments Ltd was founded in 2002 by Jamie Carson , a skilled craftsman and certified home builder. Jamie is passionate about building fine homes and the custom designed furniture found within. With an eye for detail and a sense of dedication - rivalled by few - it should come as no surprise that Jamie has won both provincial and national acclaim for his homes. He has also been featured in Western Living, Homes and Living and Canadian Contractor publications. Icon Developments was the first certified Built Green BC ™ builder on the west coast, and a recognized leader in sustainable building and systems.

Every home Icon builds meets or exceeds Built Green BC ™ standards. We provide our clients with the information they need to make informed decisions about what sustainable home systems and selections are right for them. And with every step of the way, we meet one-on-one with our clients—not only to ensure that their vision is being realized, but also to allow for any new ideas and inspirations the client may have envisioned! From there, Jamie Carson and his crew are available to assist you with everything from working with the building plans and construction drawings, to mortgage consultants and accredited interior design specialists. Icon will offer you expert advice in such key areas as sustainability and green building technologies, while providing you with clear, comprehensive budgeting and scheduling outlines. The Icon approach to building a custom designed home is truly a value-added experience. Icon provides its own in house finishing and millwork team - with custom furniture available to finish off the project. And while Icon's staff are friendly and approachable, clients can also choose to 'check in' on their home at any time via a dedicated online customer project page, accessible only by the client.
