Montreal, January 12, 2007 In a joint project with one of its strategic partners, ITF Labs has demonstrated a HPPD capable of handling over a KW in a fiber combiner. This innovation represents a significant breakthrough in that it now provides Fiber Laser manufacturers with the ability to build powerful fiber lasers capable of replacing traditional laser technology in markets where fiber lasers haven’t been able to compete so far. It represents the last key component required for Mid and High power Integrated Fiber Lasers (IFL).
