On our site, we would like to give you some virtual impressions of our campground and the surrounding area Antigonish County and for those of you who have never been to Nova Scotia before, some basic information about our province. Nova Scotia looks small on the map compared to the rest of Canada but don't let that fool you. Nova Scotia actually has over 3000 miles (5000 km) of coastline so it will take time to fully explore and enjoy. Hyclass Ocean Campground is in the eastern part of Nova Scotia. We are halfway from Antigonish to Port Hawkesbury and just 15 minutes drive from the Canso Causeway,(the narrow passage to Cape Breton). It is easy to drop by on the way to the Newfoundland-Ferry too. We invite you to visit our resort: A quiet and picturesque family campground is waiting for you. We offer 75 sites ranging from unserviced tent sites to RV sites including water, 30 amps and sewage. We also have rustic camp cabins, a full service 1 bdrm cottage and a 3 bedroom furnished house to rent for a day, a weekend, a week or longer. Rent the entire house or rent by the room if you should be travelling by motorcycle or bicycle. Great for tenters who don't want to set up the tent due to bad weather! Hyclass Ocean Campground has park like, well tended landscape situated idyllically on Linwood Harbour Bay. Rent a pedal boat, canoe or kayak and explore the bays isles.
