The company also belongs to Open Source Solutions (OSS), a consortium of 6 B.C. ISP's, which is the largest private supplier of high-speed Internet connectivity to provincial government ministries and schools. Through this association Hwy16 Internet supplies wireless services to Fraser Lake Elementary Secondary School and the Fort Fraser Elementary School.Hwy16 Internet was born to act as a host for the Nechako Access Network Organization (N.A.N.O.) who were losing their home with School District 91. The corporate name of 508533 British Columbia Ltd was registered on May 14th, 1996.
