Hudson Legion

Description

The Hudson branch of the Canadian legion, and previously the Two Mountains branch, has been an integral part of this community for over 60 years. Even though Legion activities have been initially associated with military service it is not necessary to have served in the military to become a member. In fact, almost any member of the community can become a member and enjoy the benefits that membership provides.

The Last Post Fund has ensured for over 100 years that no eligible Veteran is deprived of a dignified funeral, burial and headstone for a lack of financial resources. Its chief mandate is to administer the Funeral and Burial Program on behalf of Veterans Affairs Canada.
