Hovey Industries is North America's leading manufacturer of railway snow clearing devices. Our Heaters, with high efficiency blue flame burner technology, keep switches clear of ice and snow, and our Horizontal Air Curtains clear snow from switches and keep the line of sight of hot bearing scanners clear. Our customers include, the Class 1 railroads, transit authorities, short line railroads and industrial rail operators.

Hovey Industries began operating in 1979. Recent years have seen dramatic changes in the company and its products. By focusing on customer's needs, our product quality has grown immeasurably. We now concentrate our production in two market segments, Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication and Snow Clearing products for the Railway Industry.

Hovey has worked with and continues to work with its customers, top rail industry suppliers and our component suppliers to produce the most effective switch heaters and horizontal air curtains with the lowest life cycle cost possible.

With the ever increasing demand for reliable on time train service, the associated cost of delays and performance penalties, Hovey is dedicated to maintaining rail capacity during the worst winter storms conditions.
