Hospice Georgina's experienced staff members and trained volunteers are here to listen, comfort, and accept. We provide a safe space for individuals to share their thoughts, feelings and memories. We are able to provide information and referrals to other useful resources.

Hospice clients range in age from children to seniors and include their families and caregivers. There is no fee for services and you do not need an OHIP card. Hospice serves people with cancer, HIV-AIDS , cardiac, MS , ALS , respiratory, kidney or any life-limiting illness. Call our Client Care Coordinator to discuss your situation.

Drop-in Program: Volunteer-led drop in programs are offered weekly in Sutton and Keswick to provide caregiver relief and to provide a welcoming atmosphere for leisure and social time with a group who understand what other clients are experiencing.

Caring, generous volunteers complement our programs and aid us in our mission to provide care for families in our community who face chronic conditions, illness, death, and bereavement. Volunteer applications are accepted year round. We encourage both male and female volunteers from all cultural, social and professional backgrounds. All volunteers are expected to complete a police screening, volunteer interview, orientation and attend volunteer Time Together meetings.
