Hornsby Canvas & Tarpaulin Ltd. is a family owned and operated business, established in 1974, by Margaret Hornsby. What began as a recreational repair shop of mainly tents and campers flourished and grew to become one of South Western Ontario's leading manufacturers of industrial textile products. Margaret's determination and strong work ethic assisted her development and success of the company in an era when many women were employed in more traditional roles.
