Financial statements are tools used to interpret past results and to plan for the future. They need to be created in a timely manner, so that our accounting firm can host discussions with your management team and make recommendations to improve your business. As a sound business professional, you understand the importance of proactivity. Therefore, we look forward to leveraging a long-term relationship with your company that allows us to implement bottom line boosting tactics as soon as possible. Traditionally, financial change takes three to six months. Leading up to, and throughout this transitional period, we work with your company’s leadership to ensure that everything goes as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

At Hogg, Shain & Scheck we don’t just see our construction clients once a year. Instead, we build long-lasting, collaborative relationships with company owners. Our dedication to outstanding client service enables us to develop forward-looking financial strategies. Proactive accounting is the key to the financial flexibility that is demanded by your ever-changing workload. You need an accountant who is committed to consistently monitoring your profits and expenses to protect you from unforeseen issues at year-end. By working with a seasoned accountant, rather than just hiring a “tax person”, you are positioning your company to be better able to respond to the ebb and flow of seasonal cycles.

We often create financial reports that are a part of bank covenant requirements; therefore, we are sensitive to the strict timelines that must be met. Let us worry about deadlines, so that you can focus on your company’s growth objectives. Our accounting firm typically works with medium-sized, privately held enterprises. However, we do possess the expertise and capabilities to complete governance and other forms of compliance assessments. Our accountants have completed audits for nonprofits needing to report to government. We have also provided accounting services to Canadian subsidiaries of foreign publicly traded companies. Our team uses GAAP, ASPE and/or IFRS during audit and review engagements to provide a reasonable and reliable report to our clients’ leadership teams.

In the manufacturing industry, a company’s success is directly affected by several overarching structures. From the ever-changing global economy to changes in governance policies , manufacturers must constantly be made aware of risks and opportunities that will affect their bottom line. The volatile manufacturing market can leave business owners and their managerial staff feeling ill at ease and fearful of pursuing growth opportunities. However, foresight and proactive strategies will protect your company financially and enable you to flourish. If you are a manufacturer looking to establish stability and peace of mind, contact our professional team of manufacturing accountants at Hogg, Shain & Scheck.
