Hobby Star Marketing, Inc. (HSM) was founded in 1992 as one of Canada's premiere sports and entertainment marketing agencies. Since the beginning, HSM has specialized in placing professional sports and entertainment celebrities at a variety of venues in addition to hosting its own signature events. HSM staked its claim in 1995 with the successful launch of the Canadian National Comic Book Expo. Since then, this event has been re-branded, "Fan Expo Canada" which grown to feature: - Comic Book Expo - Anime Expo (CN Anime) since 1998 - Science Fiction Expo (SFX) since 1999 - Horror Expo (Rue Morgue's Festival of Fear) since 2004 - Gaming Expo (GX) new in 2005 Fan Expo Canada has evolved into a spectacular annual Multi Media Event with prestigious acclaim, becoming North America's 3rd largest event of its kind.
