Description

HILL Program is a transitional living program for individuals with an acquired brain injury. Rehabilitation is provided as residential, outreach and/or day treatment. The program facilities are situated in quiet, residential neighbourhoods with close and convenient access to Hamilton's community services. A high level of supervision by well-qualified staff ensures each client's safety in both the home and the community. Clients with a diversity of residual cognitive, behavioural and physical deficits are assessed and treated at HILL Program. HILL Program is directed by an Occupational Therapist and is based on a comprehensive model of Occupational Performance. HILL Program views each individual as a mental, socio-cultural, physical and spiritual being with the need to function optimally in the areas of self-care, productivity and leisure, and with the need to interact meaningfully within his/her environment.
