Hill Environmental provides a multitude of freshwater fisheries and aquatic habitat services. We specialize in aquatic habitat assessments, including Riparian Areas Assessments (RAR), Fish Stream Classification, Fish Passage Culvert Inspection (FPCI), Fish and Fish Habitat Inventory (FFHI), Fish Salvage, Construction Monitoring, Compensation Plans, and Environmental Mitigation. We provide these services for companies working within the Forestry Sector as well as for private landowners and developers.

Hill Environmental Ltd. has been conducting field projects in wildlife habitat and vegetation assessments for over 20 years. Hill Environmental Ltd. was involved with a Mule Deer Winter Range study located at various study sites in the Okanagan Valley from 2000 to 2009. The winter range studies include spring, summer, early and late winter sampling periods, tracking, vegetation assessment, browse analysis, pellet tallies, forest canopy and soil data collection.
