The first time we stayed at a Bed and Breakfast Inn, we knew we had experienced something special. We received personalized service, warm and friendly hospitality and enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of an historic Inn; an ideal alternative to conventional hotel/motel lodging. Given our love of cooking, entertaining and meeting new people, our desire to open a Bed and Breakfast seemed only natural for us. In 2000, we purchased a circa 1870 home in the heart of Bedford, Nova Scotia and began the journey of turning the home into a Bed and Breakfast. Martin, a journeyman electrician, put his electrical and maintenance skills to work by peeling back the layers of history and uncovering unique craftmanship of years gone by. After working in the financial industry for many years, Diane put her skills to use by taking care of the business aspects of their new venture. After carefully researching the decor style of the late 1800's, she was inspired to create her own custom made draperies and bedding in order to maintain the ambiance and historical charm of the Victorian era. Since 2004, we have been offering a Bed and Breakfast experience of personalized service, gracious hospitality, friendship and sharing of personal experiences with our guests from around the world.
