Description

The Greek Orthodox Youth of America, or GOYA is a ministry to teenagers (ages 13-18) of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto (Canada). The youth ministry is based on four characteristics of Liturgia (worship), Koinonia (fellowship), Diakonia (service) and Martyria (witness). Activities are therefore planned to incorporate these characteristics. The GOYA leadership in our parish is comprised of our Spiritual Leader Father Alex, several youth advisors and the GOYA officers. The parents are involved in GOYA ministry; they help formulate and implement the program. When requested, hey also chaperone meetings, activities and retreats.
