HealthCraft Products Inc., is a young and dynamic Canadiancompany founded to design and manufacture highlyinnovative home medical equipment that enable elderly andphysically challenged persons the option to liveindependently in their homes.

Based in Gloucester (Ottawa), Ontario, HealthCraft wasfounded in 1994 by a group of individuals with over 50
years of combined experience in home medical equipment.
The key personnel of the company bring backgrounds in theareas of durable medical equipment retailing, occupationaltherapy, and engineering design.

HealthCraft was founded to realize the development ofseveral product concepts based on direct feedback andcomments from thousands of patients, care-givers anddealers who use or work with home medical equipment. Asa result, HealthCraft has a strong consumer orientedvantage point as to the requirements and viability of newhome medical products.

The company`s initial product is known as ``The SuperPole
System``. The SuperPole is a (patented) modular supportsystem which provides standing, and transferring assistanceto the elderly and physically challenged. The unique natureand clean design of the SuperPole system has helped propelit quickly to the number one selling transfer aid of its type in
Canada as well as being honoured with the coveted bestnew product honours at the industry leading trade show,
MEDTRADE.

One of HealthCraft`s key assets is their award winning ``D-
TEAM`` design group. Supporting the design group is anin-house fully equipped prototyping machine shop, cycletesting lab, computer aided design, and desktop publishingequipment.

HealthCraft`s products are distributed in Canada and the
USA through a growing base of retail dealers. HealthCraftis currently working to launch several new products through
1998, and secure international distributorship agreements in
Europe and Japan.
