Hazel Burns Hospice is a community, volunteer based charitable organization providing in-home, compassionate care for people coping with a terminal illness. History of Hazel Burns Hospice: The late Hazel Burns, RN, was a dedicated health care professional who exemplified compassion and caring throughout her lifetime. In 1991, to commemorate these deeds, her friends founded the Hazel Burns Hospice. We strive to embrace the standards of care set by her example.
