In 2008, the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival began an initiative to become a more environmentally-friendly festival. As an active and socially responsible organization in our community, we are doing something about it! Harvest organizers, patrons, volunteers, and musicians, are working together to reduce the average of 32 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions produced in connection with the festival. Get onboard! It's our Harvest and together we will make 2010 even greener! We have eliminated plastic water bottles this year and will be refilling drink cups instead. There will be no more disposable water bottles at the bar. HSM Systems has graciously donated the use of a mobile renewable energy trailer that has both solar and wind energy to power the lighting in the Mojo tent!!
