The Canadian Hockey League (CHL), established in 1975, comprises 52 Canadian and nine American teams across the WHL, OHL, and QMJHL. It is the premier development league for North American hockey, supplying more NHL players than any other league. The CHL invests millions annually in player education and community initiatives, including breast cancer awareness, mental health support, and children’s charity fundraisers. It organizes events like the CHL USA Prospects Challenge, showcasing top prospects for the 2027 NHL Draft.
