Habsons Jewellers Supplies was established in 1974 by the late Habib Jiwani when he purchased a company called Gordon Nowell Ltd in Vancouver, British Columbia. The original company primarily carried wholesale silverware and gift items. Over time, Habib expanded his client base of jewellery manufacturers and jewellery repair shops by providing the products specific to their needs and gradually increased his selection of in-stock jewellers supplies of the top brands in the industry.
