Habitat for Humanity - Fredericton Area Inc is a non-profit organization with a mission to build and renovate safe and affordable housing, in which families in need can live, grow and prosper. Our goal is to build simple, decent and affordable houses and provide interest-free mortgages to families who would otherwise not be able to purchase their own home. The habitat program is about home ownership and providing a long-term solution designed to break the poverty cycle. Our Fredericton affiliate was established in 1999 and Habitat for Humanity - Fredericton Area was incorporated in 2001. The area that we service includes York, Queens and Sunbury Counties. Habitat for Humanity-Fredericton Area, Inc. is an affiliate of Habitat Canada, which was established in 1985.
