H Rose Machining Ltd. is a major supplier of precision-machined components to the High Tech, Industrial, and Military/defence markets.

In business since 1980, our 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is located in Carleton Place, in the heart of the Ottawa Valley. We operate 24/7 and are centrally located to serve our customers in Ontario, Quebec and Northeastern USA.

Due to our Quality Systems we offer 'Dock to Stock' shipments to many of our clients. We are currently certified to ISO 9001-2000. We are registered with the Government of Canada Controlled Goods Program and have a Business Licence to manufacture and transport firearm components.

While our primary manufacturing is in CNC Milling and Turning, we have many supporting operations, like automatic sawing, ultrasonic cleaning and component assembly. We specialize in machining aluminum, brass, steel, stainless, titanium, and plastics. We also offer fully machined castings, and any finishing requirements, such as anodizing, plating and painting.

Milling and turning operations are achieved with a combination of 19 CNC milling centers and 12 CNC turning centers. Our CNC milling centers incorporate cost-saving features such as high-speed machining, automatic pallet changing and rotary axis support. Some of the cost-saving features on our turning centers include 9-axis machining, live tooling and bar loading.

Our CNC programming team is equipped with the most modern tools for CAD/CAM, solid modeling and visualization. Using Pro-Engineer, Virtual Gibbs, Mastercam and AutoCAD, we are able to respond to the changing requirements of our clients' engineering and product development needs.

In addition to specializing in high volume capacity, we offer our clients prototype and pre-production abilities. Our manufacturing specialists work closely with customers to help them improve manufacturability, and lower costs. Our customers benefit from in house program management to provide value added service, and our technical experts provide timely feedback to designers for product improvements and cost engineering.
