This auditor brings a broad range of experience providing recovery and advisory services in GST, PST, HST and property taxes to many large and small businesses including non-residents. She worked for 20 years with multi-national accounting firms specializing in sales tax and property tax. She has conducted numerous client seminars and more recently seminars on the implementation of the HST. She has been a Sales Tax Consultant for over 23 years and is a Certified Management Accountant and an MBA.

This auditor has over 21 years experience working with retail sales tax within the Ontario Ministry of Finance. In 1980, he joined the Ministry as a Tax Auditor in the Retail Sales Tax Branch and held various progressively responsible positions within audit, including Senior Tax Auditor, Group Leader and Manager of Head Office Audit Control. He received his Certified General Accountant’s designation in 1985. He has experience in conducting audits in businesses of all types and sizes.

Given the daily pressures that clients are under, we provide our service efficiently and with minimum disruption to the client’s day to day business. Our team ensures that they perform the review that best fits their client’s needs.

Prior to becoming one of the founders of HMT, this auditor was a sales tax specialist and an auditor for the Ontario Retail Sales Tax Branch for 14 years. He also has numerous years of accounting experience in manufacturing and industry.
