Taking care of our future today! This is the mission of the Gurmat Center. With this in mind, the Gurmat Center is dedicated to providing the youth with the resources required to learn about the Sikh religion, and develop the positive values that are taught in Sikhism since. It is important to understand the concerns of the youth, and provide them with an education with which they will learn exciting new ideas, and have fun at the same time. Many youth complain that when they attend Gurudwara services, they do not understand what is being said. That is why preaching Sikhism in English is one of the main focuses of the Gurmat Center. Communication in the language with which the youth feel most comfortable in is a key issue to making learning a more enjoyable and successful process.
