The firm was founded in 1978 by Mr. Urgel Delisle, agricultural engineer and agronomist, to provide agricultural, forestry and environmental services. UDA was then known as Urgel Delisle and Associates. At a time when consulting services in agriculture, forestry and environment were less common, the company rapidly established a reputation for quality, competence and vision in sectors such as manure and biosolid treatment and management, environmental impact assessment for large projects such as pipeline projects, research and development as well as international development.

Groupe Conseil UDA inc. has been working in the fields of agriculture, forestry and environment since 1978, providing consulting services and carrying out projects for various clients, including industries, businesses, governments, municipalities, MRCs, farm producers and other consulting businesses such as law firms, urban planners, and civil engineers.
