Due to a programming error in our customer billing system some preauthorized payments were withdrawn on April 22nd, 2014 instead of on the invoice due date later in the month. Grimsby Power sincerely apologizes and takes full responsibility for this error. If this withdrawal created any bank service charges please call our office for details on how to be reimbursed. Our team is constantly working on providing the best service to all our valuable customers. Interruptions resulting from equipment failures due to deterioration from age, incorrect maintenance, or imminent failures detected by maintenance. When these disturbances occur, please be assured that the built-in safety features in the electrical mechanisms protect our customers and our hydro equipment. Sometimes these safety features result in the power going off for a second and then it comes back on. This delay allows the problem to clear and prevents long power interruptions.
